Uttermost Launches Facebook-Based Contest

The Uttermost Co. will be giving away three iPads as part of its launch into social media. This giveaway is part of the company’s “New Product Ideas” contest, where retailers and designers are invited to share suggestions for the company’s product line.

Retailers and designers can participate by clicking the “Enter to Win” tab at http://facebook.com/UttermostCo Suggestions can include sketches and illustrations, and there is no limit to the number of entries per person.

Winners — chosen randomly from all entries — will be announced July 9.

“Our goal with social media is to develop a forum for sharing ideas between customers, receiving feedback from customers, and simply knowing our customers better,” says Chief Executive Officer Mac Cooper.

The social media contest is a venue to enhance communication with customers and industry friends, Cooper adds. “It’s critical that we continue to listen to our customers in every way possible.”
