Tommy Bahama License at Wildwood Lamps
March 8, 2012 - 3:45pm

Lifestyle brand Tommy Bahama — which aims to capture the essence of luxury island living — has announced an exclusive licensing agreement with North Carolina-based Wildwood Lamps to manufacture, market and distribute a new collection of island-inspired lamps.

The collection will launch at this month's High Point Market, taking place April 17-22.

“Tommy Bahama has always been about how you live your life, in and outside of your home,” says Doug Wood, President and COO of Tommy Bahama. “Wildwood brings their expertise to a collection of lamps that creates an essential accent to our home collection and adds to our overall brand vision.”

The new lamps, designed and crafted by Wildwood, capture the casual yet couture vibe of the Tommy Bahama brand. Native elements of the Pacific Islands — including bamboo, shell, rattan and wood — are used to convey a casual elegance.

“We are excited about the license agreement with Tommy Bahama and feel that this collection embodies the island lifestyle concept in a sophisticated fashion,” says Russ Barnes, Vice President of Wildwood Lamps. “I think that Wildwood embraces Tommy Bahama’s vision and will uphold the brand’s distinct style and reputation for quality.”

The collection consists of 30 table and floor lamps and will retail for $399 and up.
