Personnel Updates at Foscarini, Kichler and More

Glenn Ludwig (pictured) has been appointed CEO of Foscarini Inc., the North American subsidiary of the Italian lighting firm. Based in New York City, Ludwig will be responsible for the company’s presence in the United States, Canada and Mexico. Prior to this appointment, Ludwig served as Regional Sales Manager for Forms + Surfaces and most recently as the North American Vice President for Fritz Hansen.

Kichler Lighting has promoted Jeffrey Dross to Corporate Director of Education and Industry Trends. Dross has worked in engineering and product development at Kichler since 1974, including most recently as Senior Product Manager for the company’s systems products. In his new position, Dross will serve as the company’s corporate trends analyst, media spokesperson and industry liaison, and also expand its training efforts for sales representatives, customers and other industry audiences.

Leon Wagner has joined the Lighting Science Group Corp. Board of Directors, filling the vacancy left by the resignation of Carlos Gutierrez. Previously, Wagner was a founding partner and Chairman of GoldenTree Asset Management. The company has also hired Travis Jones as Vice President of National Accounts. Prior to joining Lighting Science Group, Jones worked as Cooper Lighting’s Business Development Manager for National Accounts, NESCO’s Director of National Account Sales and Acuity Brands’ Vice President of Sales and Marketing in the Austin, TX, division.

Nora Lighting has expanded its showroom representation in the Western United States. with the addition of two new sales firms. Sites and Sites, based in Seattle, will handle showroom sales in Alaska, northwestern Idaho, Oregon and Washington, and Isaac Trujillo, based in Albuquerque, NM, will oversee sales in New Mexico and Western Texas.

Acuity Brands has chosen Clear Advantage Lighting as a manufacturer’s representative for the Memphis, TN, market.

Robert Fleisher has joined wall decor lines Somerset Studios and Hamilton Studios as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for both companies. Prior to joining Somerset and Hamilton, Fleisher held senior management positions with The Howard Elliott Collection, The Hunter Manufacturing Group and Vance Industries. Before entering home furnishings, Fleisher spent 20 years doing sales and marketing in the apparel industry for Yves Saint Laurent, Christian Dior and Jordache Enterprises.
