After being acquired by House of Troy in June, G. Scatchard Lamps officially opened for production at the new House of Troy ceramic division in Hyde Park, VT.

The new G. Scatchard Lamps officially opened for production Oct. 1, 2012. House of Troy purchased the assets of G. Scatchard LTD, dba G. Scatchard Lamps on June 15, 2012.

The artisan stoneware lamps that G. Scatchard Lamps produces will be cast, glazed and reduction-fired at the new G. Scatchard Ceramic Division of House of Troy in Hyde Park, VT.

“We are fortunate to have George Scatchard, the master potter himself, consulting us on his craft," said Bill Brown, President of House of Troy. "His original patterns, molds and glazes are beautiful; they will make an excellent addition to our offerings. We look forward to creating new products in the future with this wonderful medium.”
