Luminance has promoted Eric Allen from Vice President of Operations to President and CEO and hired Ed Krasner as Director of Sales.

Allen brings extensive knowledge in a facilitative and analytical management approach with a focus aligning the entire company in four areas: inspiring trust, clarifying purpose and expectations, aligning systems to measure performance and unleashing talent.

Allen brings more than 10 years of management experience and has been with Luminance for more than three years. He received a Bachelor’s of Science in Engineering from California State University of Long Beach.

In his new role he will focus on Luminance and Hallmark Collective’s core capabilities and enhance profitability. “Eric has proven himself time and time again and his promotion to President is very well deserved,” says David Wakefield of ShoreView Industries. “We have every expectation that he can lead the company to the next level.”

Ed Krasner brings more than 30 years of experience in the lighting industry. Prior to his appointment as Director of Sales, he was Vice President of Sales at Lite Source for 10 years. Krasner received a Bachelor’s of Science in Health Education from California State University of Northridge.

In his new role Krasner will lead inside and outside Sales teams as well as work with marketing and product development. Krasner’s proven sales background and overall senior-level experience will help ensure Luminance continues to grow at a record pace.
