HGTV Home Launches Make It Mine Campaign

The campaign will feature a sweepstakes, a one-hour TV special and a partner-wide discount on HGTV Home Products, including lighting by brand partner ELK Lighting.

In collaboration with brand partners Bassett Furniture, ELK Lighting, P/K Lifestyles, Shaw Floors and Sherwin-Williams, HGTV HOME announced its HGTV HOME Make It Mine campaign that runs Mon., March 4, to Fri., April 12. The three-part campaign features a $50,000 consumer sweepstakes, a first-time partner-wide discount on HGTV HOME products and a new one-hour special, HGTV HOME Makeover, that follows network star Meg Caswell as she designs a new living room for a lucky homeowner. The special premieres on Sat., March 23, at 6 p.m. ET/PT.

“The activation of the HGTV HOME Make it Mine campaign ensures that consumers who are passionate about home décor will know that HGTV HOME-branded products are in stores now and available as stylish, smart solutions for any indoor and outdoor design project,” says Ron Feinbaum, General Manager, HGTV products. “As consumers start to think about options to refresh or transform their homes this spring, they will appreciate the value, inspiration, simplicity and expert know-how that the HGTV HOME line brings to their designs. And it doesn’t hurt that they can enter for a chance to win cash, product and a consultation with one of our favorite designers.” 

ELK Lighting has contributed to the lighting in the HGTV Home collection.

Visitors to can enter the HGTV HOME Make It Mine Sweepstakes daily for a chance to win $25,000 in cash, $25,000 in HGTV HOME products and a personal consultation with Caswell. In addition, fans can earn bonus entries daily when they post their favorite HGTV HOME products to Facebook and Twitter via the sweepstakes website.

Consumers also can jumpstart their room makeovers with discounts of up to 40 percent off during the 10-day HGTV HOME sales event March 14-24 at participating stores. A complete list is available at

During the HGTV HOME Makeover special, viewers can go behind the scenes with designer Caswell as she visits factories, showrooms and retail stores to reveal how HGTV HOME products are made. She also shows viewers how to mix and match collection items, including flooring, paint, furniture, fabrics and lighting to create an amazing new family room.
