GLM’s Dorothy Belshaw Joins IMC as President of Gift Division

Dorothy Belshaw, formerly of GLM, has joined International Market Centers (IMC), wihich owns properties at the High Point and Las Vegas Markets, as the president of IMC’s gift division, IMC announced this week.

“I am very pleased to have a true industry leader and professional join our executive team,” IMC CEO Robert Maricich said in a statement. “Dorothy brings the leadership and experience to accelerate the growth of our Gift+Home show in Las Vegas. As a recognized and proven leader, Dorothy brings a wealth of expertise and relationships to help establish Gift+Home as the industry’s premier western market.”

Before joining IMC, Belshaw served as Senior Vice President of GLM and Director of the New York Intl. Gift Fair, managing GLM’s sales, customer service and corporate communications departments. She joined GLM in 1992 and was promoted to Vice President in 1999. Before that, Belshaw worked as the Director of Corporate and Foundation Giving at Hamilton College in New York. 

In her new position, Belshaw will oversee Margaret Powers, Vice President of Tradeshow/Las Vegas and the trade show sales team, as well as World Market Center’s permanent gift leasing team.

“I am thrilled to join the IMC team in building an exciting new marketplace for the gift and home industries,” Belshaw said in a statement. “IMC’s clear and compelling vision for the Las Vegas Market and their strong commitment to the project to date have resulted in impressive and immediate results.
