ASID NJ Chapter to Host Lighting Event

The American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) New Jersey chapter is organizing a full day of learning and a dynamic trade show focused on lighting design.

The event, called Design Comes to Light, will take place on Tuesday, May 25 in different but adjacent venues in Somerset, NJ.

The educational sessions will take place from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and include a keynote address presented by Deborah Burnett, ASID, and Gary Gordon, FIES, FIALD, titled “Focusing Light on Design: Exploring the Future Role of the A&D Professional.” Attendees will be able to learn about future design trends and light-related health implications; cutting-edge lighting applications; and the future role of the lighting designers.

The trade show will take place from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Garden State Exhibit Center. More than 120 vendors will showcase their latest products and services for interior design and architecture professionals.

A networking cocktail party will follow the trade show; same location.
