“We really wanted to recognize Tai for her help in making the Foundation grow and for providing financial support to our students as well,” said LaGuardia’s Director of Development Angela Wambugu Cobb.

Gail Mellow, President of the college, presented Wang with a crystal award from Tiffany & Co.

Wang also has been honored with the International Humanitarian Award, the Ellis Island Medal of Honor, and the Asian American Visionary Award.
