World Market Center Las Vegas (WMC) recently announced the appointment of Ron Radin (pictured) to the newly created position of Business Development for Lighting. Radin publishes custom magazines for lighting retailers throughout North America. Previously, Radin held sales and marketing positions with several lighting companies including Adjusta Post Lighting, North Shore Lighting and Casablanca Industries, where he was responsible for creation of the Casablanca Lighting division.
In his new role, Radin will leverage his background and key relationships within the lighting industry to bring key buyers to the market and to help expand WMC’s platform of lighting tenants.
WAC Lighting has announced the appointment of James McMahan to General Manager and Vice President. McMahan’s initial responsibilities include overseeing the company’s marketing department, eventually managing company-wide business operations by the end of the year. For the past 21 years, he worked for Schonbek Worldwide Lighting in several high-profile positions, including Director of Marketing Communications, Chief Financial Officer and Director of Sales and Marketing. His previous experience includes employment at corporations such as Procter & Gamble, Mead Corp. and Pitney Bowes.
Josh Hong has been named Vice President of Design for The Import Collection. Prior to joining the company, Hong was Project Director at Pacific Coast Lighting and Lamps Plus, designing products for Kathy Ireland Home, National Geographic Home, Dick Idol and various private label programs. He previously designed for Toyo Trading Co., where he created products for Raymond Waites Design and National Geographic Home.
Xicato has named Dave Levinson as Vice President Sales, North America. In his new role, Levinson will be responsible for leading the company’s commercial organization in the United States and Canada, with specific focus on the development of the company’s OEM partners, end-user and specification markets. Levinson comes to Xicato from Philips Lighting Electronics (Advance) in Rosemont, IL, where he most recently served as Vice President and General Manager of the fluorescent electronics business line.
