SHOWROOM OF THE YEAR AWARDS
The winners of the inaugural Showroom of the Year Awards program, sponsored by Residential Lighting and the Dallas Market Center, will be announced during the lighting market’s opening night kickoff party.
A special cocktail reception is planned for 6 p.m. on Thursday, June 24, in the Grand Pavilion on the first floor of the Trade Mart to honor top lighting showrooms in the United States and Canada. All registered attendees and exhibitors are welcome to enjoy the food, drinks and networking at the event. No additional registration or tickets are required for participation.
One Showroom of the Year award in each of three dollar-volume categories — revenue under $2 million, under $5 million, and $5 million and over — will be presented. Additionally, three specialty awards will be presented in the following categories: Outstanding Merchandising Display, Exceptional Community Involvement and Most Significant Achievement of the past year.
All 10 finalists in each of the three dollar-volume categories were profiled for a special section in the May issue of Residential Lighting. The commemorative section will be distributed at the show, along with the June issue of Residential Lighting. Be sure to pick up your copy and congratulate the finalists for this groundbreaking achievement.
We’ve highlighted select seminars from the Total Home & Gift and Dallas Hospitality & Contract Design shows, which run concurrent with the Dallas Intl. Lighting Market, that may be of interest to lighting retailers. For more information on Dallas Market Center events and hospitality, visit www.dallasmarketcenter.com or pick up an on-site directory.
