Known for its historic retail facility and friendly, informative salespeople, this 2010 ARTS Award winner draws from a business area far beyond its neighborhood. Although it had been a builder-oriented showroom for many years, when the economy softened, the company decided to shift gears. A big change was the look of its showroom, which was upgraded with decorative accessories and other retail items. A lighting lab was another consumer-friendly touch.
Free lunches for builders and interior designers are just two examples of the many ways in which the showroom builds relationships with customers.
