Flambeau Lighting , leading designers and manufacturers of upscale lighting, accessories and accent furniture in its signature New Orleans style, has signed a lease for a second showroom in addition to its 10th floor WTC location with Bill Reiman & Asscociates . The new showroom is located on the third floor of the Dallas Trade Mart in the Spectrum shared showroom, 3656.6, and will be open in time for the upcoming market in June.
Flambeau executives anticipate the additional showroom will enable the company to gain visibility with retail lighting showrooms, who may not travel the corridors and escalators/elevators next door to the World Trade Center. The new third floor Trade Mart showroom positions it in the heart of the market where the lighting retailer shops.
“We have so many hard-wired SKU’s in our line including chandeliers, pendants, and sconces and our business with lighting retailers continues to grow," says President Joe McKearn. "Unfortunately we don’t see that many lighting stores shopping in our 10th floor WTC showroom, and therefore wanted to take advantage of an opportunity to create a small Flambeau display that lighting stores could essentially implement in their respective stores as a prototype display.”
The company is also working with a lighting store specialist to build a separate lighting showroom sales force and McKearn says that the new additional Trade Mart showroom will enable Flambeau to gain exposure to potential lighting representatives and lighting retailers alike.
In other company news, Flambeau recently held a drawing for its new High Point showroom promotion where buyers visiting the showroom this past April entered for a chance to win a weekend for two in New Orleans, the city from which Flambeau’s designers get their inspiration. The company congratulates the principals and buyers from Old Estate Art Gallery, a home accessories store located in Thibodaux, LA, on winning the trip.
