Kim Rieck has been appointed the new General Counsel for International Market Centers  (IMC), which owns properties at both the High Point  and Las Vegas Markets , the company announced on April 6.
In this newly created position, Rieck will handle all of IMC’s legal matters. He will be based in Las Vegas and will report to IMC CEO Robert Maricich.
“We are pleased to have Kim join our organization to oversee and administer all legal matters for IMC, which will require a keen focus on commercial activities and transactions, REIT compliance and building the required legal infrastructure for a public-facing company,” Maricich said in a statement. “Kim’s corporate expertise complements the strength of our existing capabilities. Jon Leleu is an incredible asset with regard to tenant affairs and local government in his role as in-house counsel for International Market Centers.”
Prior to joining IMC, Rieck served as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Glimcher Realty Trust in Columbus, OH, for five years. At Glimcher, he was responsible for all legal matters for the real estate investment trust, which managed and developed regional malls and community centers.
