ALA PAC Launches Fundraising Campaign
This month, the ALA begins its second phone-based fundraising effort for its political action committee. The money raised will go to support legislative champions from both political parties who have influence over areas of concern to the lighting industry, such as energy, commerce and small business. In the 2004 election year, the committee raised about $20,000. This year, it hopes to collect more than $25,000 to support the cause.
