MVP Group Intl. [1] has hired former Ty Inc. [2] President Scott Wehrs as the new president of Midwest-CBK [3], a manufacturer of lighting, seasonal décor and gifts.
Wehrs started his career with Ty Inc., the creator of the successful Beanie Babies brand, in 1998 as the director of credit and went on to hold several leadership positions before becoming president and chief operating officer. Wehrs will take over immediately as the president of Midwest-CBK, which was acquired by MVP Group Intl. in June 2011.
