Crystorama President Brad Kleinberg says the new award is meant to honor retailers who show an outstanding commitment to the Crystorama brand.
“Prima uses our product in their showroom as well as their advertising, and has done a great deal to increase brand and industry awareness through merchandising and education,” he says.
The new award will be given out annually during the Dallas Market, and winners will be chosen based on depth of product, presentation and merchandising, sales training and branding.
“We see the industry changing in a way that, in order to be successful, showrooms really need to upgrade through merchandising and marketing, and we think Prima Lighting is one of the showrooms that has done that,” Klienberg says.
Prima Lighting’s founders and lighting industry veterans Luca Filice and Sam Folino accepted the award.
“We are very honored to not only be nominated but also to be the first winners in this category,” Filice said in a statement. “Crystorama has been a great partner in our store and will continue to be so for years to come.”
This award rounds out a stellar year for Prima Lighting. The 22,000-square-foot showroom was nominated for an ARTS Award in the International Retailer category last January, and also took home a Showroom of the Year award in the Revenue Under $5 Million division in June of last year.
