Personnel Updates at EGLO and ALP

Sam Guye is the new General Manager of Sales and Marketing for EGLO USA [1]. Guye has been in the lighting business for 25 years, with 15 of those years at Kichler Lighting [2] as the Vice President of Decorative Product Sales. Prior to his new position, Guye worked at Satco [3] as the National Accounts Manager. At EGLO, he will be in charge of overseeing U.S. operations.

ALP Lighting Components Inc. [4] has promoted Jeff Benton to Senior Vice President. Benton, who previously served as the company’s Vice President of Operations, will continue to oversee ALP’s operational performance while assuming new responsibility for its Plastics, Optical and Metals divisions. Benton has worked in the lighting industry for nearly 20 years, beginning as a production planner trainee for Cooper Lighting [5] and then working in a variety of management positions throughout the United States before landing at ALP in 2005.
