Rudy Stowe (pictured here) has been promoted to Executive Vice President of Chelsea House.  Stowe was previously Vice President/General Manager at the company. He reports directly to the President of the company, Bill Cain.
In his new role, Stowe is in charge of daily operations and technology for Chelsea House. He oversees both the Gastonia facility as well as the company’s finishing plant in Hickory, NC. While headquartered in Gastonia, Stowe will also travel to spend time with Chelsea House dealers and will also supervise the showroom managers.
“Rudy has been with the company for more than 11 years and has become such a critical part of our operation,” says Bill Cain, President. “As Chelsea House begins a new and bright future, I am blessed to have someone with Rudy’s unique and varied skills to help carry the company forward.”
Daniele Semeraro has been named Product Design Manager for Huntington Park, CA-based Nova.  In his new role, Semeraro will manage the overall design processes for the soft contemporary and simple modern lighting and home décor company, from initial design development through production. Semeraro’s new duties include design team supervision, trend analysis and prototype development.
Semeraro brings a wealth of design and project management experience to the company. Born in Sweden to Italian parents, he studied at one of the leading design academies in Florence before moving back to Sweden to work as a design account manager for a car interiors company that developed materials for Volvo, Volkswagen and other European cars. From there he moved to the United States where he worked on a number of international projects for hospitality design firm Hirsch Bedner Assoc. He has also worked extensively in lighting design and launched his own design company in Italy, Stile Semeraro.
