Introduced at May's Lightfair Intl. in New York City, the 2009 NightSeeing Map from the Illuminating Engineering Society, NYC Section, and the Designers Lighting Forum of New York is now available to the general public.
The map, called "Lights, Camera, WALK: A Night Walking Guide to the Most Spectacular Lighting Designs of New York City," offers a self-guided tour through four sections of Manhattan: Uptown, Midtown, Downtown and the Villages (East, West, Greenwich, SoHo, Little Italy and Chinatown). The guide highlights the most spectacular illuminated buildings, bridges and other remarkable sites, giving credit to the lighting designers responsible.
