Pacific Coast Expands National Geographic Outdoors

Pacific Coast Lighting recently announced the expansion of its National Geographic Home Collection to include exterior fixtures.

The National Geographic Outdoor Lighting Collection is a line of energy-efficient lighting for use around walkways, entry areas, garden patios and driveways. The line will be available to key retailers in a wide variety of designs and finishes after June 1.

The new collection features five distinctive designs, each with a CFL bulb to maximize energy efficiency and bulb life.

The Lake View wall lights champion clean contemporary designs with classic Mission lines and profile, while Walnut Grove’s wall lights, post mount light and hanging out door light are inspired by the Arts and Crafts style. Mission Glen models, also available in a post mount light, hanging outdoor light (shown here) and wall light, designs merge modern sustainability with classic elements, including cream frosted textured glass and oil rubbed bronze finish with sophisticated profiles. The contemporary and elegant Elm Tree outdoor wall lights — Dark Sky-compliant — are designed to minimize light pollution, and feature a stylish oil-rubbed bronze finish and a genuine slate rock wall plate. The River View outdoor wall light combines natural stone elements with a Mission-influenced line and profile.

“Pacific Coast Lighting is pleased to be able to create these innovative products that combine technologies to create extremely energy-efficient products that meet the different needs of our customers,” says Pacific Coast President Clark Linstone.

National Geographic Licensing Vice President Krista Newberry says the organization has a long-term commitment to preserving the world around us. “This collection provides consumers with a creative and practical way to reduce their impact on the environment while also saving on electric bills,” she says.
