While fewer Lighting One members attended the June Dallas Intl. Lighting Market than the January edition, the group’s early arrival helped to kick off the event and create critical mass in showrooms visited en masse.
A Tuesday afternoon itinerary on June 22 included an off-site visit to Texas Fluorescents and local member retailer Lights Fantastic, which are both owned by the same family. Although the show did not officially start until June 24, members put in a full day of at-market visits all day Wednesday. Kichler Lighting, Elegant Crystal, International Lighting, Quoizel, Satco/Nuvo and Forecast/Thomas Lighting/Philips Consumer Luminaires all hosted dedicated events for members on that day or throughout the market.
Lighting One also recently welcomed three showrooms to its ranks: Greenbrier Lighting, Chesapeake, VA; Lighting Concepts, Trussville, AL; and Red Deer Lighting, Red Deer, AB, Canada.
In addition, the group has added two new vendor partners. Alico will now provide contemporary lighting options, while Yosemite Home Décor brings a range of lighting, artwork and home accessory offerings, as well as fireplaces and sink bowls.
