New Marketing Materials Available to Showrooms
 


The American Lighting Assn.’s (ALA) BiNational Advertising and PR Program recently released a host of new marketing materials, which are currently available to member showrooms for use in their local markets. Produced by Bitterroot Marketing Inc. in partnership
with ALA’s communications department, the fresh creative provides retailers with even more ways to reach out to their customers without stretching their resources or their budgets. The materials include:

• 30-second TV commercials
• Print advertisements
• Informative public relations articles
• Radio spots

Interested showrooms will receive a DVD featuring all
of the new marketing pieces, which can be edited to include

Second Residential Lighting Training Course Scheduled

Due to the overwhelming popularity of this year’s first Residential Lighting Training Course (administered in June) ALA has organized a second program to be held at Des Plaines, IL’s Juno Lighting, Monday, Aug. 20, through Thursday, Aug. 23, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. Stan Johnston, President of Johnston Lighting Assoc. will lead the comprehensive course. Johnston is a Certified Lighting Consultant (CLC), a Certified Lighting Manufacturer Representative (CLMR) and the past Chairman of ALA’s Certification Committee.

Upon successful completion of the intensive workshop and a final test, each graduate will receive a Lighting Specialist certificate.
