New Events in Las Vegas
World Market Center Las Vegas is known for being an integrated home and hospitality contract furnishings trade complex. Retailers who attended September’s Las Vegas Market were able to take advantage of the largest integrated, consumer-wide marketing effort for the benefit of the home furnishings industry, “Is it Home Yet™?”. The campaign’s first event, National Home Furnishings Month (NHFM), encourages consumers to reinvent their homes with new furnishings. Our current offering includes a state-of-the-art campus showcasing furniture, decorative accessories, gift, lighting, floor coverings, home textiles and related segments as well as the Las Vegas Design Center (LVDC), now open daily to consumers and designers. WMCLV hosts the biannual Las Vegas Market in February and September, featuring 1,500 showrooms and exhibitors. 2010 Las Vegas Market dates are Feb. 1-5 and Sept. 13–16. Visit www.lasvegasmarket.com for more information. Our plans for 2010 include the launch of INSPIREDESIGN in February 2010 for the hospitality design marketplace. Co-located with February’s Las Vegas Market, INSPIREDESIGN takes place in the Pavilions Feb. 1-3. Visit www.inspiredesignlv.com for more information. The Gift + Home show at WMCLV will launch June 13–16, 2010. After unprecedented growth in these key categories, WMCLV is responding with a stand-alone gift show. Visit www.giftandhomelv.com to learn more. Rounding out the 2010 event roster is Vegas Kids, held in conjunction with the Gift + Home show, June 13–16. Visit www.vegaskidslv.com for more information.
