Richard M. Lapidus, co-founder and Chairman of the Board of Richards Lighting in Huntsville, AL, died June 19, 2012. He was 79.
Lapidus was the two-time past President of Temple B'nai Shalom, past President of the Huntsville Symphony Orchestra and founding member and President of Pacesetters Lion's Club.
Lapidus is survived by his wife of 50 years, Barbara Lapidus; sons, Jeff Lapidus, Brad Lapidus and Mike Lapidus; grandchildren, Gabi, Emily, Molly, Matthew, Zoey and Ally; brother, Jerome H. Lapidus of Birmingham, AL; and special pet, Bo.
