Lutron Appoints New President

Lighting control manufacturer Lutron Electronics Co. has named company veteran Michael W. Pessina as the company’s new president.
Pessina has worked for Lutron for 35 years in a variety of areas, including engineering, manufacturing and quality assurance. After being promoted to several management positions, he became the company’s senior vice president in 2000, executive vice president and chief operating officer in 2002, and president of the Office of Product Development in 2009. Pessina is also a member of Lutron’s Executive Board and Advisory Council.
