Lighting Manufacturers Donate to Women’s Shelter

WAC Lighting provided lighting fixtures to Happy House, an emergency shelter supported by the New York Asian Women’s Center in New York City. The safe house offers Asian language, culture counseling and housing to help Asian victims of violence and human trafficking.
To help brighten up the center, WAC donated ceiling fixtures and wall sconces from its energy-efficient Norfolk Series. Bulbrite volunteered all of the compact fluorescent lamps needed for the fixtures. Besides offering a clean, fashionable aesthetic, the new fixtures will cut energy costs, leaving more in the center’s budget for needed supplies and programs.
