Known for his exuberant personality and knack for spinning stories, beloved Florida sales representative Henry Guerra died on Sept. 29 at the age of 65.
The industry veteran, based in Brandon, FL, was born on July 15, 1944, in Tampa, FL. Lighting lines he represented through his firm HFG Sales included Ulextra, Pecaso and, most recently, Vaxcel.
"Over the years, he had formed countless friendships and touched the lives of many,” says Vaxcel's Erica Hatch. “Whether it be helping someone learn the business or just simply writing an order, Henry always new how to make it fun and interesting. The Dallas Market will definitely be missing that special something this year.”
Guerra was an avid University of Florida Gators football fan and volunteered as a coach for the Tampa Raiders Midget Football youth team. He was also very proud of his service with the U.S. Navy.
Guerra's funeral services, complete with U.S. Navy military honors, took place on Oct. 5 at the Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home in Brandon, FL.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Sylvia; daughter Gina Bullocks; brother Ciro Duarte; sister Mary Boza; and grandsons Jonathan and Justin Kercher.
