International Market Center's inaugural Gift & Home CEO Summit, taking place Jan. 31-Feb. 1, 2013, during Las Vegas Market, has added two new speakers.
On Thursday, Jan. 31, Claire Shipman, co-author of The New York Times best-seller, "Womenomics: The Workplace Revolution That Will Change Your Life," will address how women are changing the world — from politics to the workplace — and explore how the management styles of today’s women are producing more profitable companies with happier employees.
Also on Jan. 31, President of TM Capital Jim Grien and his team will address the several subjects in a program targeted to the gift and home industry, including: evolving M&A (mergers and acquisitions) trends and changes in the competitive landscape; why industry valuations have defied broad economic headwinds; growing private equity interest in gift and home décor; the long-term case for independent retailers; attractive value realization options for business owners; and the ABCs of liquidity and capital-raising alternatives.
