For the last eight years, Kelly has worked in sales and operations for several of GLM’s shows, including SURTEX, the International Hotel/Motel & Restaurant Show and The Licensing Gallery at NYIGF. In his new position, he will develop new sales strategies for the largest division of NYIGF, which encompasses over 750 exhibitors.
“John’s eight years with GLM has provided a solid foundation of experience with tradeshow sales, marketing, management and operations,” Christian Falkenberg, NYIGF director and GLM vice president, said in a statement. “He has a proven record in setting and exceeding sales goals, which will serve him well in his new responsibilities for General Gift.”
Kelly has a degree in Marketing and Management from Siena College and is a member of the Intl. Assn. of Exhibitions and Events.
