Fanimation hosted an Urbanjet release party on Saturday, Sept. 29th in Zionsville, IN, with more than 170 attendees and 18 classic cars on display.
Guests got to check out cars like a 1969 Ford Galaxie GT convertible, 1966 Ford Thunderbird and a Triumph TR3 during the event. The Mid-Hoosier Model A Club made a special appearance at the start of the party and delighted the crowd with nine beautifully restored Ford Model A cars. The event drew such a large crowd that it attracted two additional vintage car owners who were just driving by and decided to stop and display a 1958 Cadillac Sedan de Ville and a 1954 Ford F100 pickup truck.
In addition to the cars, Tom Frampton, Fanimation’s founder and CEO, gave tours of the Antique Fan Collectors Assn. Antique Fan Museum and Nathan Frampton, Fanimation’s President, conducted an Urbanjet drawing and gave away fans to five lucky winners. Fanimation had the event catered by Edwards Drive-In Dashboard Diner food truck and guests feasted on breaded tenderloin sandwiches, fried pickles, root beer and other diner style delicacies. Kids, and a few adventurous adults, enjoyed having their faces painted and everyone appreciated the fantastic weather.
“The Urbanjet release party was Fanimation's first real event that focused on the local community,” Nathan Frampton said. “While we are an international organization, we think it's important to stay connected on the local level. It was inspiring to see so many familiar and new faces. Don't be surprised if we have a bigger party next year!”
