Holtkötter Intl. Inc. is known for products that combine beautiful design with superb engineering and the latest lighting technology. Holtkötter has been manufacturing chandeliers and lamps in Germany for more than 45 years. We are one of a few companies left that still designs its own fixtures and does its own manufacturing, from the raw metal to the finished product. The results are chandeliers and lamps of lasting quality. Our continued devotion to the technical, functional and design challenges of lighting makes us unique. We call it The Holtkötter Difference. Our Ultimate Lighting Machines are the result of decades of research and development. Inspired by the Bauhaus School, we create timeless designs that mold form and function, material and finish, into one whole. Thorsten Cramer and Martin Neveling of 8|16 quergedacht recently joined our design team. Based in our German factory, these noted young designers create lighting, such as the Touch lamp (shown), that allows people to use their residential interiors to express their inner selves. Our current offering includes a wide range of ceiling fixtures, chandeliers, wall sconces, table lamps, torchieres and spotlights. Many of our newest designs feature Osram’s new low voltage Halostar bulb with IRC energy-saving technology, which produces more and better light while reducing energy consumption by about 35 percent. Our plans for 2010 include a goal to become the most innovative lighting design and technology company.
