Congratulations, 2011 Finalists!
Our Editor recognizes the 30 amazing retailers who are this year's Showroom of the Year finalists.

We’re proud to profile the 2011 Showroom of the Year finalists in our May issue, and I wanted to take the opportunity to acknowledge them publicly here as well. This is our second time presenting these awards in partnership with the Dallas Market Center , and it’s truly an honor to recognize these retailers for the great work that they do. The awards will be presented on Thursday, June 23, at 6 p.m. during the summer Dallas Market. All attendees and exhibitors are welcome to join us for the celebration in the Trade Mart third floor expansion area.

This year’s judging panel included Cinda Baxter, tireless champion of independent retailers via her viral 3|50 Project; Martin Pegler, perhaps the most prolific author ever on the subject of visual merchandising; and Randall Whitehead, IALD, our monthly columnist whose lighting expertise seems to be matched only by his wit and humor.

Ten finalists in each of three dollar-volume categories were whittled down from entries and nominations received online between December and February. In addition to a Showroom of the Year in each category, we will also present three specialty awards for significant achievement, merchandising display and community involvement. Congratulations to this year’s contenders:
