On Wednesday, Feb. 13, Capitol Lighting celebrated the opening of its Palm Beach Gardens showroom with a free community grand opening event and special appearance from rapper and DIY Network host Vanilla Ice. Vanilla Ice created his own line of chandeliers and sconces sold exclusively at Capitol Lighting and 1800lighting.com.
About 100 to 120 people attended the event. Deena Lang and the WRMF street team were on-hand raffling off prizes, including a pair of Taylor Swift tickets, and food was provided by Russell’s Blue Water Grill. Members of the local chamber of commerce also came out to officially cut the ribbon on the new showroom.
