  • Personnel Updates at American Fluorescent, Westinghouse Lighting and AmericasMart

    June 29, 2010

American Fluorescent announced the hire of two new employees, Jeff Nepsa and Mark Phillips. Nepsa is joining the company as Commercial Sales Manager for the western United States, and Phillips is the Commercial Market Manager.

Nepsa was most recently with LSI Industries as the Western Regional Sales Manager. In his new role, he will focus on servicing and building accounts by providing advice, product training and working with agencies and distributors. He has responsibility for national accounts, electrical distributors and lighting showrooms in the Western U.S. region.

Phillips, a 15-year veteran in the industry, previously worked at Juno Lighting. As Commercial Market Manager for American Fluorescent, he will develop and execute products and programs for commercial customers out of the company’s corporate office.

Westinghouse Lighting has appointed Thais Brown-Smith to Director of Customer Relations. In the coming months, Brown-Smith will develop a comprehensive plan mapping a new strategy for customer relations. The department’s evolution will include new systems, processes and policies to increase efficiencies and improve customer service. Prior to joining Westinghouse, the seasoned customer relations professional worked at Sea Gull Lighting and Comcast.

David Savula has been named Executive Vice President in charge of AmericasMart Home and Gift Leasing for all of the Atlanta market's permanent showroom facilities in Buildings One, Two, and Two West Wing. Savula’s promotion follows a seven-year tenure as Senior Vice President in charge of AmericasMart’s Home showroom leasing. His career spans more than 15 years in the home and gift industry.

AmericasMart Buildings One, Two and Two West Wing span more than 4 million square feet, housing more than 1,000 permanent home and gift showrooms across 11 product centers, including accessories and furniture.
