Architect LED Flat Panel
MaxLite
This high-performance, dimmable LED flat panel for installation in grid ceilings is typically used to replace 2x2 and 2x4 fluorescent fixtures. The housing and back panel are aluminum, providing maximum heat sink and thermo control capabilities. White trim is electroplated and the lens is translucent white polycarbonate. Both panels use AC 120-277V input power; are fully dimmable with a seven-level remote dimmer; and wired for smart building controls.

JUDGE’S COMMENTARY:
“To me, the most groundbreaking development in this category was the 2x4 recessed fixture that appeared in all likelihood to be a fluorescent fixture with a milk-white flat diffuser. When you dug deeper, you found a very thin — probably not over 1 inch thick — fixture that had the most even spread light pattern throughout its entire 2-foot-by-4-foot dimension. The fixture was totally SSL, or LED powered, allegedly around the perimeter. It was truly revolutionary!” — Lewis S. Sternberg, LC, Lewis S. Sternberg Consultants in Lighting Inc.
